The apparent magnitude of the host star is 8.7 and the absolute magnitude is 10.2. GJ 163 is about 0.5 the mass of our sun and has about 0.4 the radius. Its surface temperature is 3300 K and is a spectral M9 type star. The planet GJ 832 c orbits the star every 35.7 days, it’s orbital radius is 0.16 SEAU.
